The hydrogen energy era has begun, and green building materials are taking the lead

 

The Qingdao Meijin Hydrogen Fuel Cell Commercial Vehicle Parts Production Project is located in the West Coast New Area of Qingdao City, Shandong Province. It is a provincial and municipal key project introduced to the new area. Its total construction area is 186,000 square meters, including a combined workshop for buses and trucks, a completion inspection workshop, an airtight replacement workshop, a sewage treatment station, management rooms for hydrogen refueling stations, an oil and chemical warehouse, and a catering center, etc.

Among them, the joint factory building is the core building with the largest scale and the most complex functions in the park. To meet the efficient collaboration requirements of the vehicle manufacturing assembly line, the factory adopts a unique U-shaped structure design, achieving seamless connection throughout the entire process from material flow to final assembly and commissioning. In this landmark building, Wiskind COLORPOD ® sandwich panels, with their outstanding performance and aesthetic design, have become the core carrier of the project's green genes.

Structural optimization: 8-meter column spacing interprets industrial aesthetics

 

In this project, the Wiskind design team broke through the traditional design thinking and adopted a purlin-free wall scheme with an 8-meter large-span column spacing, which greatly improved the construction efficiency and saved the overall steel usage. It not only highlights the simple beauty of modern industrial buildings, but also has excellent economy.

Technological breakthrough: 3D gaskets endow higher strength

 

In response to the strong wind climate along the coast of Qingdao and in line with the strict requirements for safety and durability in industrial buildings, Wiskind has applied its self-developed new generation of 3D gaskets, effectively enhancing the load-bearing capacity of steel plates at the screw points and the strength of the tone-tongue supports, endowing the COLORPOD ® sandwich panels with outstanding wind resistance. By optimizing the mechanical structure of the connection nodes of the panels, the overall stability is significantly enhanced. Even under complex weather conditions, the building facade can remain stable and consistent, building a reliable barrier for the safe production and stable operation of customers.

The resonance of color and function interprets the concept of sustainability

 

The exterior facade, composed of Wiskind Color ® sandwich panels, is mainly in green and white. Green symbolizes the clean nature of hydrogen energy, while white echoes technology and efficiency. The combination of the two conveys the core concept of "green intelligent manufacturing" of Qingdao Meijin.
