Desai battery energy storage cell project is the largest industrial project of Desai Group outside the headquarters, with a total investment of 10 billion yuan, a planned area of 700 acres, and a total planned capacity of 20GWh. The project includes a total of 130,000 square meters of workshops, including battery joint workshops, module Pack workshops, pilot workshops and comprehensive testing centers.

With the formal mass production of Desai battery energy storage cell project, its high-specification manufacturing level and ultra-cutting-edge research and development level will drive the upstream and downstream battery packaging business of advanced energy storage materials industry to accelerate the gathering, and attract a large number of high-quality R & D and design enterprises, power equipment enterprises and electric vehicle enterprises to settle in Changsha, promoting the regional advanced energy storage materials industry to extend to the high-end of the value chain.

The exterior wall of the project adopts Wiskind Purlin-free system - COLORPOD® sandwich board. The purlin-free system is a wall system formed by the combination of prefabricated unit wall board and structural column, which can maximize the length span of the sandwich board while meeting the demand of wind resistance, so as to achieve the effect of simple and clean indoor and outdoor space, while realizing the integration of the building structure, reducing the amount of steel is also more green.

In this project, the column spacing of vertical wall and gable wall is 9m and 8m respectively, and there is no secondary structure between them. Wiskind 95W structural rockwool sandwich panel is adopted, which reduces the comprehensive cost and the construction period, and ensures the rapid completion and operation of the project.

As an FM certified and Samsung Green building materials certified two-sided tone-and-groove polyurethane sealing rockwool board, the plates are connected by a joint, which has good wind resistance and economic practicability. The new generation of staggered double support groove has better precision and compactedness. Closed cavity waterproof structure, with rain screen function, avoid capillary water seepage, improve waterproof and gas insulation performance.

The SR6 standing seam roofing system used in the project is a prefabricated high-performance metal roofing system developed by wiskind. It has super waterproof and wind resistance performance, has obtained the American FM certification test, and passed the ASTM watertight and airtight test, the static wind exposed test of the National Building Materials Industry Test Center, and the national standard dynamic wind load test. To provide more than 360 degrees of comprehensive durable protection for the project.
