Wiskind to Deliver PEB Solution for Shaanxi Zhituo’s New Additive Manufacturing Base in Xi’an

Shaanxi Zhituo Additive Manufacturing Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as 'Zhituo'), has recently commenced construction of its solid-state additive manufacturing base in Xi'an, a key city in the west part of China. Wiskind, a leading industrial building solution provider, has tailored a complete integrated PEB(Pre-Engineered Building) solution to build the landmark manufacturing site for Zhituo.

Zhang Hao, Executive Director and General Manager of Zhituo, said the Xi'an base marks a strategic milestone for the company as it seeks to capture new opportunities created by the city’s industrial development strategy.

“Once completed, the facility will significantly strengthen our capability to supply high-end additive manufacturing products,” he added.

The project will build 21,500 m² of high-standard factory space for Zhituo, creating a national demonstration base for industrialized solid-state additive manufacturing.

Built to strict safety requirements, the facility meets an 8-degree seismic fortification standard under the Standard for Classification of Seismic Protection of Building Constructions. The Wiskind team optimized the design for high seismic intensity and near-fault conditions, while adopting a roofing system compatible with photovoltaic integration.

This ensures structural safety while allowing for future green and low-carbon upgrades, supporting Xi'an’s strategy to expand photovoltaic applications.
